That's Quality-Price Ratio to you and me...  the goal, a high one.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;A great $100 (retail) [$200-300 at restaurant pricing] wine is easy to do...  finding a great wine at $20 a bottle - well that's a whole 'nother story!&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;So where do you find great QPR wines?  A few resources:&lt;br /&gt;&lt;ul&gt;&lt;li&gt;Wine Library TV - &lt;a href="http://tv.winelibrary.om/"&gt;tv.winelibrary.com&lt;/a&gt; - Mr Gary Vaynerchuk's great vblog [note not all - or even many - of the wines Gary reviews are high QPR - but read the scores page on his site to find ones that are, or watch episodes as they are released.]&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;DIY - make wine yourself - I'm just about to get started, but find more resources online like &lt;a href="http://www.blogger.com/www.finevinewines.com"&gt;finevinewines.com&lt;/a&gt; (retail store and website - located in Dallas) and resources like WineMaker Magazine (&lt;a href="http://www.blogger.com/winemakermag.com"&gt;winemakermag.com&lt;/a&gt;)  Most DIY winemakers who work from kits will admit you're unlikely to make wine that would retail for more than $20-30 per bottle, but given you can produce such wine for $3-6 per bottle - great returns.&lt;/li&gt;&lt;/ul&gt;Got other suggesions?
